Five calculators for the decisions a containment forces in the first day or two: what a suspect lot is worth sorting, what controlled shipping is burning, whether to sort in-house or buy the crew, how many passes a PPM target actually needs, and what one reject did to a scorecard. They are free, there is no sign-up and nothing is gated behind an email address. Every one of them runs in your browser and writes the arithmetic out on the page, division by division, so you can check the result against your own numbers.
Read that last part as a disclosure, not a feature. PLI Sorting sells containment, sorting and inspection, so we have a commercial interest in you concluding that a defect is expensive and that a crew on the dock is the answer. The tools are therefore built to be checked rather than believed, and more than one of them will tell you plainly that buying anything from us does not move the number you care about.

WHAT EACH ONE ANSWERS.
In a live containment they tend to get used in the same order: size the crew first so you know what a day of sorting costs and when the population clears, then price the disposition of the lot you are holding, then compare doing it in-house against the quote in front of you.
Sort, Rework or Scrap
Prices sorting, reworking and scrapping the same suspect lot on a cost-per-good-part basis, and finds the defect rate above which sorting stops paying. For the quality or plant engineer who has to disposition a lot that is already on hold.
Controlled Shipping Cost & Exit Date
Itemizes what a day on CS1 or CS2 costs, the earliest date you are eligible to exit, and what one escape costs by resetting the clean counter. For the supplier quality engineer who owns the exit and has to report a date.
In-House vs Third-Party Sorting Cost
Puts the loaded cost of sorting with your own people next to a containment quote, with per-piece and per-hour quotes normalized onto one basis so they can be compared at all. For whoever signs the purchase order or pulls the operators off the line.
Sort Effectiveness & Outgoing PPM
Shows the escapes and outgoing PPM you should expect after one, two and three passes at realistic inspection effectiveness, and how many passes a stated PPM target needs. For the quality engineer committing to a containment plan the customer has to accept.
Supplier PPM & Scorecard Recovery
Calculates supplier PPM, isolates what a single reject did to the scorecard, and says whether the target is still reachable this period or only once the reject rolls off the window. For the supplier quality engineer drafting the answer to the customer.
